A visit from Helen & Douglas House
Zahra and Sophia Sheikh’s grandma, Kathy, visited this morning. Amazon House has picked Helen and Douglas House as their chosen charity this year and Kathy is a volunteer there.
She spoke to the children during House Assembly, telling them about the important work the charity does, how they fundraise and answered the children’s questions. On Tuesday, the children are going to present what they have learnt to the rest of the school in assembly.
