Learning all about the river and rowing
On Tuesday, 11th February, Year 3 took a trip to the River and Rowing Museum to enhance their learning about rivers.
In the morning, the children participated in workshops where they explored how rivers are formed, how they shape the landscape, and how they are used.
After the workshops, they enjoyed a walk along the Thames, observing some of the key features they had discussed during the session.
To wrap up the day, the children had the chance to explore the museum's galleries and learn even more about the river's uses and the history of Henley-on-Thames.
