Science Fair fun
A group of enthusiastic scientists in Year 6 attended the Greener Henley Science Fair which was held at Henley College on 13th November.
Senior school pupils from across Henley manned 17 different stations, all of which offered different activities on topics based around the overarching theme of pollution and the environment.
We learned about all sorts of things from how oil in our waterways is harmful to wildlife, to the meaning of decomposition and biodegradability. The children made strips to catch and measure pollution molecules back at school and talked about ways in which we can see, hear, taste & smell pollution.
Thank you to The Henley College, Greener Henley and the senior school students from schools across the local area for a fun, interactive and educational morning on such an important topic.
