Prep Happy Hub

In the Prep Happy Hub this week, a small group of Year 3 and 4 children did the confidence jar activity.

They picked scenarios out of a jar when things do not go so well. For example, not performing to their best ability in a fixture, worrying about homework or finding a test difficult. Mrs Sheriff encouraged the children to discuss healthy strategies to overcome difficult situations.

The children talked about the importance of learning from mistakes, not giving up and not being afraid to ask questions when unsure. They realised that they can all learn from tricky situations and become more resilient.
