Year 6 learn important lifesaving skills

On Wednesday, Year 6 attended a First Aid workshop run by Sue, a trained paramedic and experienced First Aid instructor.

Over the morning, they covered many important lifesaving skills, including putting someone in the recovery position, using a defibrillator, administering CPR, and helping a casualty who is choking.

They also learned how to bandage a wound and how to make a sling for a broken arm, and they had lots of fun trying out their skills on each other!
