Skipping through February for charity

Today we concluded our skipping challenge! Between us, we completed over 15,000 jumps and raised £250. Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored us!

Skipping challenge

Background

Several members of Rupert House staff have taken on the 100 skips a day in February to help raise money for Cancer Research UK, a charity we are all passionate about.

We’re doing this at playtimes, and as well as entertaining all the children, it’s actually encouraging them to start skipping too, which is brilliant! (If they ask you to buy a skipping rope for them…that’s because of us - apologies!). We’re loving doing the activity together and it leaves us all feeling very invigorated.

Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to this page.

Thank you from, Mrs Newman, Mrs Pettifer, Mrs Steer, Miss Potts, Miss White and Mrs Miller (ps we’re hoping for guest appearances from the male staff members who tell us skipping is not their thing… photographic evidence will definitely be provided, which will hopefully boost our fund!).
