17th January 2025
This week, the entire Rupert House community, from Year 1 upwards, had the opportunity to attend workshops hosted by Childnet, emphasising the critical importance of online safety—a topic we take very seriously.
The children engaged with interactive, age-appropriate presentations in their year groups, while staff participated in a dedicated session after school. A special thank you to all the parents who joined us for the afternoon session; we hope you found it both informative and valuable. We have already received some wonderful feedback and truly appreciate your support. If you weren't able to attend the session, Childnet have kindly recorded an information video which includes the same content that they delivered for us. Please find the link below.
Young Voices
The children in Years 4 to 6 have been hard at work with their final rehearsals for our upcoming trip to Young Voices at the O2 Arena next Monday. We are eagerly anticipating the event, as it promises to be a truly special experience for both the children and their families and I am personally very much looking forward to going along with them all! To ensure the day goes smoothly, please take a moment to review the important reminders below. On Tuesday morning, those children who have been to Young Voices can come in later if they wish, but please can we ask that they come in either at normal time (8.15-8.25am) or at 11am and not inbetween, as otherwise it will be very difficult to plan their activities that morning.
February half term camp
Discover Activity Camps are coming to Rupert House School this February half term, and the team are looking forward to welcoming superheroes and villains. Inviting all children aged 4 – 14 to don their mask, slip on their cape and come join in the fun! They are offering multi-activity day camps with fun activities tailored to age groups, including forest school, cooking, team games, sports and active outdoor play. The camp can be booked daily, although they recommend a full week to enjoy all the activities on offer.
