Studying Sikhism

Mrs. Gill kindly left her desk in the Bursary this week to come and talk to Year 6 about Sikhism, which they have been studying in Religious Studies this term.
She brought in some articles such as a Kirpan (a steel sword) and some steel bracelets (known as Kara) and explained their relevance within the religion. She also answered the many questions that Year 6 had! We are very grateful to her for preparing her talk and for giving Y6 an understanding of modern-day Sikhism.
